Restaurant guide Bistro in the Villenviertel

Bonn · It’s a bistro where both young and old and everyone inbetween should feel comfortable.

“Rien ne va plu” in the Bad Godesberg Villenviertel is Belgian inspired. The Bad Godesberg bistro “Rien ne va plu” has been situated in the Villenviertel area for years now, with Klaus and Werner Ockenfels being the owners since 1986. Inside, the decor is inspired by traditional Belgian pubs, with dark wood and nostalgic accessories from Brussels flea markets. There is seating for around 70 people indoors and around 48 seats outside.

On the menu are baked potatoes in foil with smoked salmon and green salad (9 euros). “Rien-Pfanne” is a pan-fried dish with a variety of seasoned meats, mushrooms and onions (13 euros). Turkey schnitzel with sauce bearnasie, french fries and green salad is also on the menu (13 euros). Some of the beers you will find: Reissdorf Kölsch and Bitburger Pils (2.20 euros per 0.25l), Erdinger Weizen (4 euros for 0.2l).

There are nine house wines (4.50 euros for 0.2l), including a Grauburgunder (Pino gris) from Hans Beth (Rheinhessen), which can be purchased as by the bottle from 15 euros. The bistro offers some new dishes weekly. Clientele ranges from senior high school students to retired people. Fitting is the house philosophy, “We are a meeting place for young and old, all generations should feel comfortable here.”
