The police in Bonn have found three suspects in the case of an attack with fireworks in Tannenbusch. A 23-year-old man was taken into custody. Three days before New Year’s Eve, unknown culprits threw fireworks out of a moving car. Now the police have investigated three suspects in connection with this incident, the police revealed on Thursday.

According to the spokesperson, the car which was used was a rented vehicle. After searching two flats in Buschdorf and Beuel, a 23-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of Thursday. The man did not provide any details about the incident during his arrest. He has been released from custody in the meantime, according to the police. Another 23-year-old and the 19-year-old renter of the car are under investigation for attempted grievous bodily harm and dangerous interference with road traffic.

The police have no filed charges or reports by injured parties on record yet. The investigation continues. One teenager filmed the incident near the Tannenbusch-Center from a skyscraper on the opposite side and published the video online.
