Bonn · A 34-year-old man attacked and robbed a young woman in the entrance hall of her apartment building in Bonn’s Südstadt on Saturday night. The police arrested the man a short time later.

The 30-year-old woman told officers she was walking in the Königstraße area of Bonn’s Südstadt at around 1.50 a.m. on Sunday morning when she noticed someone was following her. When she opened the door to her apartment building, the man followed her into the entrance hall.

The 34-year-old then threatened the woman and stole her purse. The perpetrator tried to hold the woman’s mouth shut but she managed to call for help.
