Landpartie Burg Adendorf „A short trip into the land of good taste“

Wachtberg · „A short trip into the land of good taste“ is what the organizer Schloss Gödens Entertainment calls the „outing“, and quite fittingly too.

In its 15th year, the Landpartie opens its gates again for four days at Burg Adendorf, the beautiful estate owned by the Baron von Loë, from Thursday on. 180 exhibitors present exquisit objects for in- and outdoors for every visitor looking for inspiration. Garden fans get to view the newest creations by the „Gärtner von Eden“, Peter Sturm, and the garden planners from In Vita Videre. Also worth looking at is the annual flower artwork by world class florists Gregor Lesch and Mehmet Yilmaz in the fore court of the moated castle.

Peter Heerdt delivers interior design ideas: In the shed of the castle he pays homage to the color white. To turn your garden into a living room is what DesignConcept have specialized in. The Wohnwerkstatt Freischem shows custom-made furniture, the interior store Rubel-Brüggen is bringing Scandinavian design to the four-day event. Many more exhibitors - specializing in modern and tradition craft and design - are completing the picture. Wine lovers can look forward to tasting selected wine from German vineyards like Melles and Reverchon. European alternatives are rare Bordeaux wines. Luxurious street food will be served by Caviar House & Purgier as well as Pommery from Robbe & Berking on silver trays.

Yourfood.koeln will charm everyone with international dishes, including American Burgers and Japanese Takoyaki. Gourmet chef Stefan Steinheuer from Bad Neuenahr is available for talks on cuisine and eating habits. Also, the fashion world is not missing out - many big labels, small manufacturers and regional retailers like the Modehaus Waltzinger, the jewelers Richarz and the goldsmith Petra Hagenau will be at the Landpartie. Classics of the roads will be displayed by Jaguar and Rover. Fans of vintage cars can admire the beautifully restored automobiles by engineer Peter Bazille. The cabaret artist Konrad Beikircher will take to the stage at 2pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at a matinee in the Ahnensaal.

With classic background music he is going to read from his new opera guide „Pasticcio Capriccio“. More music entertainment is brought to the program by the „Akustischen Vier“, who play unplugged versions of golden oldies, and the pianist Hanna Bachmann, who plays Beethoven. Children get looked after daily from 11am to 8pm at the Waldorf kindergarten, free of additional charge. Opening times: Thursday, May 25, until Sunday, May 28, from 10am to 7pm. Tickets are available for 12.50 Euro at landpartieshop.de/tickets, and for 15 Euro at the gate. Children up to the age of 16 enjoy free admission. Sturdy shoes are recommended. Parking is free.
