Restaurant Guide “Godesburger” restaurant near Kinopolis

Bad Godesberg · If you've just been to the movies and are looking for a place to grab a bite, this might fill the bill. Inventive burgers and fresh, regional ingredients are key at the "Godesburger."

Not far from the Kinopolis movie theater, the “Godesburger” restaurant has been managed by Sabine Widera, and run by co-owners Wolfgang Pütz and Gerhard Wolf since September of 2014. The decor is original and designed with care, floorboards and antique tiles underfoot, light-colored woods, and designer lamps made from canning jars. It offers space for 64 persons.

An outdoor terrace has room for 80 guests. On the menu: Burger variations, for example, “Preisel Bert” (with 180gm beef patty, camembert, onion rings, rucola) or “Speckda” (with beef patty, bacon strips, chili-cheese topping) both of these variations for 7.40 euros. Potato waffles are 2.70 euros.

Beverages include a lemon soft drink for 2.50 euros (.33l), fruit spritzers for 2.80 euros (.41l), Aperol Spritz for 5.50 euros, and coffee specialties like Latte Macchiato for 2.90 euros. At lunchtime, there is a special for 8.90 euros: burger with 130 gm beef patty, salad, fries and mineral water (.25l). There is also a changing monthly menu. Typical guests include people who have visited Kinopolis, families, business people and burger fans.
