GA storm blog “Friederike” storm largely paralyzes air and rail traffic

Bonn/Region · Storm front “Friederike” moved into Bonn with severe wind gusts. German Rail suspended all trains in NRW and Cologne/Bonn Airport also suspended operations during the storm. Buses and trams were kept running.

Because of the storm front "Friederike", train traffic in North Rhine-Westphalia was suspended. This was announced by Deutsche Bahn (German Rail) on Thursday morning. Affected were all connections for regional and also for long-distance traffic. Cologne-Bonn Airport also suspended operations.
