Online portal “Bonn Sustainability” offers new map
Bonn · The online portal “Bonn Sustainability” has undergone a little makeover. Besides listing a comprehensive schedule of events and daily updates from the world of sustainability, it now offers some new features as well.
One of the new highlights of the German/English portal is the “Bonn Map of Sustainability.” On the map, users can find institutions and organizations which work on sustainability issues supporting the United Nations sustainability goals. It’s meant to help readers link together the different organizations in Bonn working in this field, providing information and contacts but also promoting dialogue between the different players.
Besides giving an overview, one can click on each individual institution or organization to find out more about what they are doing. The fields range from education to politics, development, environment, sustainable economies and social participation. There are 240 different organizations included. Information about training in the field of sustainability and courses is also listed on the website.
