What to do Wednesday “Art for cash”

Beuel/Bonn · If you are a new talent looking for a stage, or you are interested in a scientific approach to cities of the world, then Wednesday evening has something for you.

Looking for something to do now that Karneval is over? On Wednesday evening, Feb. 10, there is an open stage for new talent. It’s called “Kunst gegen Bares” (Art for cash) and gives the opportunity to all sorts of artists to sell themselves and their art. Whether you are an actor, comedian, singer/songwriter, poet, juggler or some other type of artist, you have 10 minutes maximum to present your form of art.

The public decides how much each performance was worth. Collected money goes to the artists. Everyone interested can show up at the Brotfabrik in Beuel. Come and share your talent or support new artists. It starts at 8:00 p.m. and entrance fee is 6 Euros.

If science is your thing, Marc Barthelemy will lecture in English on “The City as a complex system: A statistical physicist’s Point of View”. It is part of a series of lectures called “Cities of the World” put on by the Forum of International Science. It begins at 6:00 p.m. in the University forum, Heussallee 18-24, Room 109.
